The impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has affected us in ways that we never thought could happen. We have felt fear, worry, loss and personal challenges on many levels. And we are now moving forward.
As we begin to reopen our community and province, I believe we have gained a new appreciation for so many things, big and small – from true friendships, hugs and gatherings; to being able to work or support those that do. We are truly fortunate to be where we are.
BC Children’s Hospital Foundation (BCCHF) has also been affected by the pandemic and truly understands that supporting any charity, at this time, is not easy. The Foundation has respectfully remained low key this year during what is usually an important fundraising period.
A special Miracle Weekend Event is happening this Saturday May 30th from 7 to 11 pm on Global TV.
However, it will be different this year and will feature special stories of hope, courage, and resilience.
As in past years, my Miracle Weekend web page is set up and can be reached either directly at
or through my business website https://www.ianlindsay.ca/blog/.
I fully appreciate that this is a year of change and challenge. Should you wish to support the BCCHF, please feel free. Thank you for your support in the past years, not only of the Miracle Weekend, but for your ongoing support of our community.
The past three months has shown how strong we are collectively.
Thank you again.
